Responsible for facilitation of in-class learning activities, assigning and grading assessments (i.e., quizzes, exams, labs, and homework if applicable), offering of weekly office hours, submission of grades, and resolution of any ongoing student or course issues. May participate in professional development.**Performance Objectives***Teaching:* Develop and deliver in-person courses, both lectures and labs. Contribute to the creation and improvement of course content.**Education and Experience Requirements***Required*: PH.D. in Chemistry or related area. Experience teaching Elementary and/or General Chemistry at the post-secondary level.*Desired*: Familiarity with The Ohio State University’s department of Chemistry courses and curriculum.**Additional Information**The offer for this position will be based on internal equity and the candidate's qualifications## Additional Information:**The College**The Ohio State University at Newark offered its first classes in 1957 with a mission to provide affordable, open access to Ohio State for all Ohioans.
