Make a meaningful difference in education with a contract opportunity as a Paraprofessional supporting kindergarten classrooms. Multiple full-time positions are available near Paterson, NJ, providing an excellent chance to gain valuable experience in an engaging educational setting. This role focuses on classroom support as a teacher assistant, allowing you to collaborate closely with educators and students—without the responsibility of 1:1 assignments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a paraprofessional in a school setting preferred
- Familiarity with kindergarten classroom dynamics and child development
- Strong teamwork and communication abilities
- Ability to build rapport with young students and educators

Role Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on support in classrooms, working alongside lead teachers to help facilitate lessons and classroom activities
- Assist in supervising and guiding groups of kindergarten students throughout the day

- Aid students in understanding instructions, participating in group work, and following routines
- Support the implementation of learning materials and activities under teacher guidance
- Monitor student engagement and behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive atmosphere
