Responsabilidades El Asistente de Enfermería Certificado ayuda al personal de enfermería profesional y técnico principalmente al cumplir una variedad de deberes y procedimientos que están directamente relacionados con el cuidado del paciente. Los deberes principales incluyen tomar y registrar signos vitales, ayudar a los pacientes con la higiene y la eliminación, garantizar la seguridad del paciente y mantener un ambiente limpio y seguro en la unidad. Ayuda a reabastecer los suministros de la unidad, opera el equipo del hospital según se indique, realiza tareas administrativas de rutina y ayuda con otros deberes relacionados según se le asigne. Ayuda al paciente con la higiene, la eliminación, el cuidado rutinario de la piel, medidas de confort y otras Actividades de la Vida Diaria (AVD), considerando la edad, género, cultura y preferencias expresadas por el paciente, manteniendo la privacidad y el respeto del paciente en todo momento. Asume la responsabilidad de mantener un ambiente limpio y seguro. Asegura el cumplimiento de los procedimientos de Control de Infecciones y de HIPAA. Asiste en actividades de cuidado del paciente según lo indique la enfermera licenciada, incluyendo la recolección/transporte de muestras, posiciones/cambio de posición y transporte del paciente. Participa activamente en conductas de cuidado, asumiendo la responsabilidad consciente de su trabajo y toma acciones proactivas, deliberadas y reflexivas respecto a las actividades laborales. Demuestra un uso apropiado del juicio independiente y la toma de decisiones. Calificaciones Diploma de escuela secundaria o equivalente, experiencia previa demostrada en el cuidado de pacientes. Certificación como Asistente de Enfermería (CNA) en el estado de CA. AHA Soporte Vital Básico. Comprensión de la terminología médica básica. Capacidad para leer, escribir y comunicarse efectivamente en inglés. Habilidades de servicio al cliente apropiadas para el trabajo. Tarjeta de Seguridad Contra Incendios y Vida en Hospital (solo para empleados de la ciudad de Los Ángeles).
