Nurse Practitioner

Nurse Practitioner Location: San Diego Schedule 8-hour workday; no weekends; no nights; no call Salary, Full-time Position Summary In collaboration with the physicians, the Nurse Practitioner (NP) assumes clinical responsibility for tasks performed within theNP's scope of practice. This includes: taking patient's history, performing physical examinations, ordering appropriate diagnostic tests, establishing diagnosis and providing care and management for vascular surgery patients. Expected to take part in office based patient evaluations, follow-ups and coordinate care with various other entities (i.e. home health, wound care centers, imaging centers, medical equipment suppliers, etc). Expected to perform in-hospital evaluations to include initial consultations, follow-ups, rounding, and discharging. May be involved with direct patient monitoring during and post-op from office-based procedures requiring conscious sedation.
