Key Responsibilities
- Support the Kitchen Manager: Oversee kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure efficient workflow.
- Lead by Example: Jump on the line, expedite during busy periods, and set high standards for quality and efficiency.
- Ensure Top-Notch Food Quality: Guarantee that every plate leaving the kitchen meets our quality standards.
- Train and Mentor the Team: Help new hires learn the ropes and keep the crew motivated.
- Stay Organized and Problem-Solve: Manage inventory, prep lists, and address any issues that arise.
- Maintain Health and Safety Standards: Ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
Requirements
- Strong leadership skills with a team-first mentality.
- Experience in a high-volume kitchen environment.
- Ability to handle pressure and maintain efficiency during peak hours.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- A passion for food and commitment to quality.
- Previous kitchen management or supervisory experience preferred.
