Join us and help shape the future of aerospace and defense.The Patriot Program Quality Lead Senior Analyst /Program Quality Lead (PQL) in Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS), will support US and/or foreign programs within the Global Patriot portfolio at our Tewksbury, MA location. Responsibilities include promoting and executing with a strong quality mindset, knowledge sharing, and collaboration. This individual will assist in implementation of Global Patriot strategic quality improvements across contracts.This is an on-site position with very little travel anticipated (10%).You will proactively engage with the product line and work in partnership with Program Leadership, Engineering, Global Supply Chain, Operations, and the Quality team. This role will work to ensure the effective implementation of Quality and Mission Assurance requirements of the programs, and occasionally interface with U.S. Government Customers, Foreign Customers, and Suppliers. You will primarily support proactive engagements across our factories and suppliers that support the Global Patriot portfolio, implement quality processes to reduce overall product lifecycle cost and risk. What you will do: Interface with the program quality teams, programs, customers, and supporting Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), supporting technical quality and financial performance, and compliance to Raytheon procedures and contractual requirements.Proactively review program contract requirements to meet and influence customer needs.Closely interface with external and internal customers and key partners to establish effective relationships.Must have the ability to manage and impact across multiple levels of stakeholders, as it is vital to the success of this role.Responsible for quality of delivered products and services to our customers, stakeholders of quality risks, uncertainties and opportunities, key team members in resolution of customer expectations and relationships related to Mission Assurance and Quality.Responsible for executing tactical Mission Assurance plans that will closely affect the programs’ implementation and influence.Responsible for improving processes or systems using significant conceptualizing, reasoning, and interpretation skills. Problems and issues faced are numerous and undefined, and information is typically difficult to obtain.Monitor / lead root cause corrective action (RCCA) for program related issues to ensure extensive RCCA.Support implementation of Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)Qualifications you must have:Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 2 years of prior relevant experience.Relevant experience is working in quality, engineering, or manufacturingExperience supporting a manufacturing environment and supporting live issue resolution (e.g. establishing priorities).The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.Qualifications we prefer:STEM degreeSix Sigma, Lean, CORE, or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification.Working experience with international parties, providing technical program support for Raytheon program managers and their customers.Knowledge of tracking performance to cost, schedule, and technical performance including Cost Accounting Methodologies (Earned Value).
