Assurance Senior Manager

TRC Talent Solutions is partnering with a well-respected and growing public accounting firm to hire an experienced Assurance Senior Manager for a direct hire opportunity in the Buckhead area! The Assurance Senior Manager will provide strategic leadership over audit engagements from planning through completion. This individual will be responsible for client relationship management, engagement execution, financial statement delivery, quality control, and staff development.

Serving a diverse portfolio of clients across industries including manufacturing, construction, real estate, hospitality, professional services, and nonprofit organizations, the firm provides exceptional exposure to a wide range of business environments and challenges. This role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact through client leadership, team development, and engagement oversight.

Responsibilities:
Lead audit engagements from planning and risk assessment through execution and financial statement issuance.
Oversee the design and execution of audit procedures to ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and serve as a trusted business advisor.
Manage engagement budgets, timelines, staffing, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.
Deliver high-quality client service while ensuring compliance with internal methodologies and external professional standards.
Review workpapers, financial statements, and audit documentation for accuracy and completeness.
Participate in training initiatives and professional development activities within the firm.
Collaborate with partners and firm leadership to identify additional client service opportunities.
Support business development initiatives through prospect meetings, client presentations, and proposal development.

Qualifications:
Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license.
Minimum of 8 years of public accounting experience with progressive audit responsibilities.
Prior experience leading and managing audit engagements.
Advanced knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Generally Accepted Auditing Standards (GAAS).
Strong analytical, technical accounting research, and project management skills.
