J.C. Lewis Motor Co. is proud to be Georgia's oldest continually owned and operated automotive dealership, serving Savannah and the surrounding communities since 1912. At our Pooler location, we're looking for a tag and title clerk to join our team and play a key role in processing tag and title paperwork for in-state and out-of-state purchases, including retail and wholesale customers. If you're a team player with strong organizational skills and an eye for detail, we'd love to have you onboard!

What You'll Do:

• Processes all tag and title paperwork in a timely manner
• Verify accuracy of title paperwork and trade title information
• Coordinate with lienholders to obtain vehicle title status
• Verify tax exempt status with relevant counties when appropriate
• Process military customers' title paperwork
• Assist in other office functions or other duties as designated by the supervisor

What We're Looking For:

• Basic understanding of tag and title laws in the state of Georgia
• 1-2 years of data entry or administrative support experience
• Entry-level accounting experience
• 1-2 years of dealership experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Ability to meet multiple deadlines and work independently with a high level of discretion
• Professional and respectful workplace conduct
• Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 20-25 pounds
