Financial Analyst

Position Overview We are looking for a Financial Analyst to partner with our IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Process teams to drive thoughtful, data‑informed OpEx decisions. This hybrid role requires presence in the office three days a week in either our Raleigh, NC or San Jose, CA office. The Opportunity This role is ideal for someone who is curious, analytical, and motivated to improve how organizations plan, measure, and optimize investments. You will enable smart resource allocation, strengthen financial discipline, and support high‑impact business initiatives while growing your own finance and business partnership skills. Key Responsibilities Partner with IT, Cybersecurity, and Business Process leaders to plan, manage, and forecast OpEx budgets. Deliver clear, actionable insights on spend trends, variances, and risks to inform decision‑making. Improve forecasting accuracy and reporting processes through thoughtful analysis and simplification. Support monthly and quarterly close activities, including variance analysis and reporting. Build and maintain models to evaluate cost efficiency and investment trade‑offs. Collaborate cross‑functionally to align financial plans with business priorities. Identify opportunities to enhance transparency, controls, and cost optimization. What We Are Looking For Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills, with attention to detail. Ability to translate complex financial data into clear, actionable insights. Effective communication skills and confidence working with cross‑functional partners. Experience with budgeting, forecasting, or financial analysis in corporate, consulting, or related environments. Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with financial systems or data tools. Comfort working in a fast‑paced, evolving environment with changing priorities. A growth mindset and willingness to learn new tools, processes, and business contexts. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field. Typically 5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or business partnering roles. Compensation The target salary range for this position is $100,300 – $143,000 USD, adjusted for location and qualifications. Compensation packages also include a comprehensive benefits package covering health insurance, life insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and equity options where applicable.
