Travel RN - Pediatric ICU (PICU)

Location: Wichita, KS

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 7A - 7P

Job Description: The Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) is seeking an experienced Travel RN to provide high-quality care for critically ill infants and children. This unit is a Level II Trauma Center with a team designed to deliver comprehensive care.

Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in a fast-paced PICU environment.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions using CR Monitoring systems.
• Perform IV starts, blood draws, and TPT placements.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams including Intensivists, Respiratory Therapists, and Case Management.
• Educate patients and families on PICU processes and care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital experience in PICU.
• Current BLS and PALS certifications are required.
• CRRT and APHON experience preferred.
