Overview
Registered Nurse – Operating Room (Cardiac) Travel Assignment in Rochester, New York, United States. Start date: 09/14/2026. Duration: 17 weeks. Shift: 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Weekly pay: $2,726–$2,932 per week. This travel - temporary assignment takes place in a hospital operating room setting and does not guarantee hours.

Responsibilities
- Circulate and scrub in complex adult cardiac surgeries in the OR, including CABG, TAVIs/TAVR, and other heart procedures
- Collaborate with anesthesia, perfusion, and the multidisciplinary team to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes
- Maintain a sterile field, manage instrumentation, and ensure availability of needed equipment and implants
- Monitor patient status intraoperatively, document events, and respond to intraoperative changes as directed
- Support telemetry monitoring and post-procedure transition planning as part of the surgical team

Requirements
- Active New York Registered Nurse license
- BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
- Minimum of 2 years of operating room experience
- OR experience in a level 1 trauma setting highly desired
- Ability to scrub and circulate in adult cardiac cases
- Telemetry experience
