Unit Specifics: Number of Beds: 101; Patient Ratios: 4:1 typically- medical, up to 7:1 on ED behavioral holds; Unit staffing description- Techs available- work in cardiac monitoring unit and the internal processing area, triage, Unit clerks days and nights; Type of equipment: Baxter pumps, GE monitors; Documentation system: Cerner; Scheduling requirements: Every other weekend, can't commit to block scheduling, scheduling must meet the needs of the dept.; Floating policy: No floating outside of the ED but must be open to floating to all sections in the ED.; Patient Experience requirements: AIDET, Respectful behavior, Pt Experience to each patient, Boards updated with info and pt updated throughout visit

Hiring profile

Requested Skill Set: 2 years' experience in Level 2 trauma center, comprehensive stroke center, high volume > 100,000 visit ED. Previous HCA experience preferred. Must have: 2 years' experience as a nurse with at least 1-year experience in ER setting, teamwork mentality, ability to coach and give feedback in real time.
