Manufacturing Quality Assurance Associate

Job Summary Join a top-tier global pharma leader in Waukegan, IL, as a Manager, Quality Systems. In this on-site role, you will drive strategic quality assurance initiatives, translating high-level compliance strategies into tactical objectives across pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturing processes. Job Details Location: Waukegan, Illinois Job Type: Contract Salary: $85.00 - $95.70 per hour Work Hours: 9 to 5 Education: Bachelor’s Responsibilities Oversee quality assurance compliance from raw material inspection through final product shipment. Manage supplier controls, including supplier scorecard preparation and quality tracking/trending. Create, negotiate, and manage comprehensive Quality Agreements with external partners. Utilize SAP and quality management systems to track data and maintain strict regulatory compliance. Support diverse QA functions including validation, documentation, labeling, and training. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in a life sciences discipline. 8+ years of dedicated experience in Quality Assurance within the pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing industry. Proven experience working directly with Supplier Controls and Quality Agreements. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Preferred Qualifications ASQ certification (e.g., CQE, CQA). Proficiency with SAP, OneTrack/SolTRAQs, and Veeva Vault.
