Engineer/Estimator

Plymouth Spring Company is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Engineer / Estimator to join our team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong engineering background and experience in cost estimating within a manufacturing environment, preferably metal or spring manufacturing. About the Role This role involves preparing accurate cost estimates and quotations based on customer drawings, specifications, and requirements. Responsibilities Prepare accurate cost estimates and quotations based on customer drawings, specifications, and requirements Analyze materials, labor, tooling, and production processes to determine pricing Collaborate with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure feasible and competitive bids Review customer RFQs and technical documentation Assist with process improvement, cost reduction initiatives, and engineering support as needed Maintain estimating databases and documentation Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent technical experience Experience in estimating and/or manufacturing engineering (spring or metal fabrication experience a plus) Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Strong analytical, mathematical, and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems Excellent communication and organizational skills Required Skills Experience in cost estimating Detail-oriented Preferred Skills Experience in metal or spring manufacturing Pay range and compensation package Competitive salary based on experience Stable, growing company with long-term opportunities Collaborative and hands-on work environment Equal Opportunity Statement Plymouth Spring Company is committed to diversity and inclusivity in the workplace. #J-18808-Ljbffr Plymouth Spring Company Inc
