Overview JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Surgical Technologist to join our operating room team. This role involves providing essential assistance to surgeons during operative procedures, ensuring a safe and efficient surgical environment. Responsibilities Prepare and maintain the operating room environment and sterile field. Select, arrange, and open sterile supplies and instruments for surgical procedures. Assist the surgical team by anticipating instrumentation and equipment needs. Perform surgical scrub duties, maintaining sterile technique throughout the procedure. Handle specimens and surgical counts according to established protocols. Assist with patient positioning, prepping, and draping. Clean and restock the operating room after procedures. Adhere to all infection control and safety standards. Collaborate effectively with surgeons, nurses, and other members of the surgical team. Schedule / Shift Days Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent. Successful completion of an accredited Surgical Technology program. Experience Previous experience as a Surgical Technologist is preferred. Certifications Basic Life Support (BLS) certification. Skills Proficiency in sterile techniques and aseptic principles. Knowledge of surgical procedures and instrumentation. Ability to anticipate surgeon's needs during operations. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
