IT Business Analyst

Essential Functions & Responsibilities IT Business AnalystAs an IT Business Analyst you will serve as a key partner between Arcwood’s business stakeholders and the Digital team to provide ongoing process and application support. This role is responsible for analyzing business processes, gathering and documenting requirements, supporting system enhancements and implementations and ensuring technology solutions align with operational objectives. The Analyst collaborates with multiple functional areas to optimize inventory management, operational execution, purchasing and logistics and plays a critical role in driving continuous improvement, system stability, data integrity and digital transformation initiatives. Prioritizes health and safety by adhering to policies, processes, and maintaining safe practices at all timesPartners with business leaders and subject matter experts to understand operational challenges and identify technology solutions Translates business needs into detailed, functional and technical requirements and develops business process maps, workflows, use cases, user stories and system specifications; ensures requirements are documented, validated, prioritized and approved Develops and maintains training materials and system documentation for existing and new business processes Evaluates system enhancement requests and recommends system solutions that improve operational efficiency Supports system upgrades, integrations, acquisitions, and digital transformation programs Analyzes operational and system data to identify trends, issues, and improvement opportunities Develops reports, dashboards, and KPIs supporting inventory accuracy, procurement performance and material availability Ensures data quality and master data governance practices are maintained; supports audit activities and compliance reporting requirementsCoordinates system testing, deployment activities and post-implementation support Assists broader team in identifying, troubleshooting, and correcting application issues; provides Tier 2 triage, resolution and/or assignment of application or process faults to minimize business disruptionBuilds strong relationships across Operations, Procurement, Finance and Digital teams, serving as a trusted advisor on MMS capabilities and best practices Takes on additional duties as assigned to support the team and organizationEducation- Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, business administration or related field (required)Experience 6+ years of experience in a business or systems analyst role (required) Experience working in cross-functional, multi-site operating environments (required) Previous experience with and knowledge of ERP platforms (preferred) Overview About ArcwoodEvery advancement—from the products we use to the medicines and technologies we depend on—creates waste that must be handled responsibly.
