Travel RN - ICUAmerican TravelerSeattle, Washington, United StatesPosition status: OpenAssignment type: travelShift: NightsLength (weeks): 15Openings: 1$2,677.38/week (estimated advertised weekly pay)DescriptionAmerican Traveler is hiring an experienced ICU RN for a Critical Care Float position at a Magnet-designated teaching hospital, requiring at least 2 years of ICU experience across cardiac, neuro, and general critical care.DetailsCritical Care Float pool covering Surgical ICU, Cardiac ICU, Cardiothoracic ICU, Medical ICU/Bone Marrow Transplant-Oncology ICU, and a mutually agreed Med-Surg unitPatient ratios range from 1:1 to 1:2Night shift schedule, 3x12-hour shifts (19:00-07:30)Weekend work requiredFloating within the hospital required; floating to sister hospitals not requiredNo on-call requirementsUses EPIC charting systemMagnet-designated teaching hospital with 637 staffed bedsRequirementsActive WA state or compact RN license requiredCurrent BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferredMinimum 2 years of ICU experience required, including cardiac, neuro, and general ICU skillsEPIC charting experience requiredPrior travel nursing experience requiredTeaching hospital experience preferredSkills required include ventilator management, ABG interpretation, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, dysrhythmia management, and IV therapyExperience with EVD and ICP monitoring preferredExperience with post-cardiac surgery and TAVR care preferredCOVID vaccination and booster required with no exceptionsAdditional InformationProvide direct patient care across multiple ICU specialties within the Critical Care Float poolRTO limited to 1 week maximum, with a requirement to work 2 of 3 major holidaysRTO cannot be requested during the first 2 weeks of assignmentLocal candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mileage radius restrictionPrior UW staff must have an 18-month separation before returning as a travelerFirst-time travelers will not be considered for this positionAny scrub color accepted; scrubs provided for OR personnel
