Substitute Teacher – Phoenix, AZ

PRG Educational is hiring dependable, enthusiastic  Substitute Teachers to support schools throughout the  Phoenix, Arizona area .

Position Overview

As a Substitute Teacher, you will step into classrooms when the regular teacher is unavailable and help maintain a positive, productive learning environment. Assignments may range from  single-day coverage to ongoing and long-term opportunities depending on school needs and your availability.

Responsibilities

• Follow lesson plans and instructions provided by the classroom teacher
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and productive classroom environment
• Provide instruction and support to students throughout the school day
• Manage classroom behavior using school policies and expectations
• Take attendance and complete required classroom documentation
• Communicate important information to school staff and the returning teacher
• Adapt to different classrooms, grade levels, and school environments
• Serve as a positive and professional representative of PRG Educational

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for all assignments
• Previous experience working with children or in a school setting is a plus
• Ability to communicate effectively with students and school staff
• Dependable, professional, and comfortable adapting to different environments
• Ability to successfully complete all required background and school clearance requirements
• Arizona Substitute Teaching Certificate or Teaching Certificate preferred for applicable assignments
