Our growing company is seeking friendly and empathetic healthcare professionals with a passion for helping others in a direct-care role as a certified nursing assistant. As the primary caregiver, you will assist patients with varied levels of mobility with getting dressed, going to the restroom, changing bedpans, eating daily meals, and other activities of daily living. You’ll also record patient vitals and note any changes in behavior, complaints, and symptoms to the registered nurse. $39,500

• Provide carefully documented patient information in charts for multiple vital signs including temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and blood oxygen level
• Work with patients on regular exercise as needed to maintain their mobility level and physical health
• Give patient support with basic care daily living activities bathing, getting dressed, going to the restroom, eating regular meals, and taking proper medication dosages
• Maintain clean and sanitary patient rooms by rotating sheets, changing bedpans, and performing general room upkeep
• Communicate information with patient care providers and other nursing staff members to facilitate patient care

• Excellent communication skills that focus on creating and maintaining positive relationships between patient and families
• Be able to use computer database and software programs to accurately record patient history
• Completed the state-approved CNA training program and received CNA certification from a medical facility, vocational school, or community college
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED) is required for this position
• The ability to administer catheters and enemas is desired, but not required
