Responsibilities Assist in the placement and finishing of concrete surfaces under the direction of the Foreman. Perform other duties assigned by the Foreman or management. Smooth out concrete in segments to ensure proper quality and finish. Participate in union training and development through the Walbec employee portal. Qualifications Valid driver’s license and satisfactory driving record. Class A CDL strongly desired. High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred. Prior construction experience preferred. Member of a Local Cement Masons Union or willingness to become a union member (union membership not required prior to employment). Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, and weekends. Ability to work in variable weather conditions, dirty and dusty environments, and crawl in close quarters to strip concrete forms.
