A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on eligibility dates. Highlights This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. The required availability for this position is Monday–Friday, standard business hours, with a hybrid schedule (first week onsite training at the Fisher Building in Detroit, then remote with 2 in‑office days per week determined with supervisor). Responsibilities Connect daily with MEAP and WRAP applicants to facilitate intake and enrollment activities. Provide customer service by answering inbound calls and assisting applicants with program questions. Collect, review, and verify required applicant documentation. Process applications submitted through online portals for MEAP and WRAP programs. Accurately enter applicant data into internal systems with a high level of precision. Provide validation support for Low‑Income Self‑Sufficiency Plan (LSP) applications. Refer applicants to successful planning appointments when applicable. Conduct LSP coordination training for internal teams and partner organizations. Support additional operational and program‑related tasks assigned. Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Strong customer service, data entry, or administrative experience preferred. Ability to handle high-volume calls and manage multiple priorities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days. Preferred Qualifications Experience with utility assistance programs (MEAP, WRAP, or similar). Background in case management, intake coordination, or benefits processing. Experience working in a call center or customer support environment. Strong communication and organizational skills.
