Responsibilities

The Enrollment and Eligibility Specialist provides patients, patients’ family, and community residents with vital information and linkages to affordable care and appropriate health benefits — including enrollment assistance for insurance programs, such as Covered California, Medi-Cal. Provides information about programs and services available to the community that foster community health and wellness for the residents of Southeast Los Angeles.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING

1.    High School Diploma or equivalent.

2.    2 years of work experience in the medical field, preferred.

3.    Bilingual English/Spanish, preferred.

4.    Knowledge of Medical terminology, preferred.

A reasonable compensation estimate for this role, which includes estimated wages, benefits, and other forms of compensation, is $23.94 to $30.00. The exact starting compensation to be offered will be determined at the time of selecting an applicant for hire, in which a wide range of factors will be considered, including but not limited to, skillset, years of applicable experience, education, credentials and licensure.
