Recruiting ManagerPosition Overview: The Talent Acquisition Coordinator at STEM Preparatory Academy will be responsible for cultivating, recruiting, selecting, and retaining highly effective and ambitious teachers and leaders across the entire network. Successful applicants will be responsible for leading recruitment efforts for all faculty. Moreover, all staff members are responsible for cultivating and sustaining the STEM Prep culture of excellence and achievement through modeling learning and leadership behaviors for students, teachers, parents, and all members of the community. The Talent Acquisition Coordinator will report to the Chief People Officer.Required Qualifications:Demonstrated commitment to Anti Racism, Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, BelongingAbility to manage multiple priorities and a student's first mindsetFeels confident, compelled and proactive in creating, monitoring and evaluating action plansA commitment to STEM Preparatory Academy and its values; an understanding of STEM Preparatory Academy's mission and unwavering commitment to fulfill it.A high level of personal integrity and professionalism.A team-oriented approach and the ability to effectively communicate.Openness to give and receive feedback on issues that will facilitate growth and achievement of both students and faculty.Experience with talent or human resource information platforms3+ years of experience with talent acquisitionEagerness to resolve conflicts, not avoid them.Bachelor's degree required.Preferred Qualifications:At least five years of demonstrated success as a certified teacher, preferably in a charter school setting, with a proven track record of supporting student achievement and outcomes that exceed district and state performance standards.Proven track record of family and community collaborations that drive strong student outcomes and results.Responsibilities:Partner with Managing Director of Human Resources in designing and implementing a strategic plan for recruiting and selecting teachers and leaders to join the STEM Prep teamOversee selection process to ensure a positive, equitable, smooth, and inspiring experience for candidates and current staff membersReview one-way video interviews and make recommendations to school teams, manage candidate process through reminders and follow upsDesign, build upon, and oversee the hiring process for new positionsIdentify and cultivate relationships with potential candidates using nurture campaignsEvaluate candidates based on submitted materials, interviews, and site visit demonstrations; advise school teams of candidate strengths, gaps, and aspirationsParticipate in the selection and hiring process of future teachers while maintaining a high level of retentionResearch and attend job fairs, mock interviews and other career eventsSupport the HR Coordinator in creating online content and communications; maintain relevant pages of school website and social media accountsRelationship Management:Collaborate with network leaders across content areas in the design, development, and execution of robust leader and teacher academic and cultural professional development in service of ambitious goals for our studentsSupport the Chief People Officer in building partnerships with teacher training institutions – i.e. Teach for America, Relay Graduate School of Education, Nashville Teacher Residency.Establish strong rapport with ATS and HRIS platform representatives and stay on top of developments in the fieldRetention Support:Partner with HR Coordinator to maintain record of teachers' licensure status as neededImplement recognition system that rewards talent on strategic goalsCollaborate with network and school leadership to organize events or programs that recognize teachersIn collaboration with the Managing Director of Human Resources, HR Coordinator, and the Operations division, must develop strong onboarding and onboarding processesOther duties as assignedJob Title: Recruiting Manager Dept: People Team
