Principal Technical Program Manager - Graphite Payments

You will translate strategic goals into executable roadmaps, improve operating rhythms, and ensure delivery teams have the structure and support needed to deliver high-quality results. You will work across the program lifecycle, from discovery and requirements through implementation, change management, and continuous improvement.Job responsibilitiesLead cross-functional programs from definition through delivery, including scope, business case development, planning, execution, and change managementPartner with Business, Operations, Finance, and Technology stakeholders to elicit, document, prioritize, and validate requirementsFacilitate workshops to define processes, use cases, scenarios, workflows, and operating model improvementsDesign and improve processes and supporting business applications to increase efficiency, control, and transparencyDevelop and maintain program governance, including status reporting, scorecards, metrics, risks, issues, dependencies, and decision logsGuide teams in data collection, analysis, and synthesis to produce evidence-based recommendations and improve program reportingCreate clear materials for executive communications, steering forums, and stakeholder updatesBuild an inclusive, high-performance culture by coaching leaders, developing talent, and fostering strong collaboration across teamsProactively identify delivery risks and constraints, propose mitigations, and drive timely decisions to keep programs on trackUses enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment to accelerate program planning, dependency/risk synthesis, and executive-ready reporting, validating outputs and handling data according to sensitivity requirementsPromotes reuse-first, AI-assisted practices for program governance and continuous improvement routines, ensuring human review and alignment to delivery standardsRequired qualifications, capabilities and skills10+ years of experience or equivalent expertise in technical program management, leading complex technology projects and programs in large organizationsProven experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives across multiple stakeholder groups and geographiesDemonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams, including coaching, talent development, and organizational leadershipStrong knowledge of financial controls, budgeting, risk management, and operational disciplineAdvanced analytical and structured problem-solving skills, including the ability to translate ambiguity into clear requirements and plansStrong communication and facilitation skills, including leading workshops and influencing senior stakeholders through clear, concise storytellingEnd-to-end delivery experience, including scoping, implementation planning, change management, and agile ways of workingStrong organizational and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple workstreams and tight deadlines in a fast-paced environmentDemonstrated experience leading teams in the safe use of enterprise-authorized AI capabilities within the work environment for architecture and delivery workflows, including validation habits and awareness of data sensitivityAbility to evaluate AI-assisted recommendations before adoption and set review/approval expectations that align to resiliency, security, and auditability outcomesBachelor’s degreePreferred qualifications, capabilities and skillsMaster’s degree or equivalent advanced training in a relevant fieldProject or program management certification (for example, Project Management Professional certification or PRINCE2 certification)Experience leading large-scale transformation in financial services, operations, or technology organizationsExperience establishing program governance models and building key performance indicators to track outcomes and value deliveryExperience improving processes through lean, continuous improvement, or similar methodologiesThis position is subject to Section 19 of the Federal Deposit Insurance Act.
