Desired Qualifications: Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program Current license or eligibility for licensure as an SLP in Illinois ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year candidates welcome Experience in an elementary school setting preferred Familiarity with IEP processes and caseload management Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities Key Responsibilities: Assess, diagnose, and provide therapy for speech, language, and communication disorders in elementary students Develop and implement individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and families to monitor student progress Document student performance and maintain thorough records in compliance with state and federal regulations Adapt therapy techniques to meet the diverse needs of students within the school environment Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to a positive, inclusive learning environment This assignment offers a welcoming, supportive work environment and the ability to make a tangible impact in a school setting.
