Job Summary: 

The Parking Lot Attendant role is primarily responsible for organizing vehicles, maintaining a clean and safe parking lot, and assisting with basic maintenance or movement of inventory as needed. 

 

Responsibilities: 

• Manage and monitor parking areas, ensuring optimal space utilization. 
• Communicate with warehouse loading staff to stage trucks in and out of their assigned docks for efficient loading throughout the night 
• Conduct pre-trip inspections on the trucks before staging to avoid issues on the road (stock fluids, check for defects/mechanical issues, check tires and lights, ect) 
• Communicate with management to report any issues with the vehicles 
• Other duties as assigned. 

 

Requirements: 

• Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. 
• Must be able to read, write and understand English.  
• Independent and highly motivated individuals. 
• High School Diploma or Equivalent. 
• Strong communication skills.  
• Computer skills and typing ability for data entry. 
• Basic math skills. 
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred. 
• Flexibility in scheduling with the ability to work 3rd shift, including Sunday and Friday nights 
• Basic Understanding of Deisel engines 
• Basic understanding of refrigerator units 
• Physically capable of repetitively climbing in and out of trucks and cabs 
• Must be able to operate commercial vehicles in tight spaces throughout the night
