Group Fitness Instructor

Group Fitness Instructor As a Group Fitness Instructor he/she is responsible for providing group fitness instruction while monitoring and educating members on fitness and safety in an enjoyable atmosphere. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Teaches scheduled classes, beginning and ending on time. Provides adequate warm-up, class content, stretching, and cool down. Instructs class participants on effective workout methods, using and demonstrating proper technique. Prepares appropriate equipment and music for each class. Maintains a positive experience for members and class participants. Assists club management in promotion of smoothies, new products and promotions. Works on maintaining and building classes. If class is empty work to pull members in to class Qualifications: Current Group Fitness certification CPR/AED certification Ability to motivate members towards participating in group fitness classes Strong desire to help others reach their health and fitness goals Completes Retro University requirements Compensation: $25 - $35 per hour With more than 120 gyms open or under development across the US, Retro Fitness offers multiple fitness experiences under one roof.
