Job Overview
The MRI Technologist role is essential for conducting routine, specialized, and interventional MRI imaging. This position also involves performing venipuncture when necessary and providing assistance to Radiologists and Radiology nurses during sedation procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct routine and specialized MRI imaging procedures.
- Perform interventional MRI imaging as required.
- Administer venipuncture when indicated.
- Support Radiologists and nursing staff during sedation cases.
- Education: Completion of an accredited Radiologic Technologist Program that aligns with MQSA standards.
- Licenses/Certifications:
- Current certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in MRI, or ARMRIT certification.
- Texas Department of State Health certification (MRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
- Experience: A minimum of one year of relevant work experience is preferred.
- Hours: As needed (PRN).
- Days: As needed (PRN).
