Data Governance Analyst

Supporting daily governance operations, the full-time remote Data Governance Analyst will manage data cataloging, lineage, and classification processes while collaborating with data stewards and compliance teams to ensure adherence to governance standards. Key responsibilities Collaborate on the creation and execution of a strategic data governance roadmap to support business objectives Manage the execution of data cataloging, lineage, and sensitivity tagging processes using governance platforms Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), user guides, and training for data stewards Required qualifications Bachelor's degree in information management, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or a related field Minimum 3 years of experience in data governance, metadata management, and platform DevOps administration Hands-on experience with governance workflow execution within Collibra or equivalent platforms Working knowledge of governance frameworks (DCAM, DAMA-DMBOK, NIST) and data quality principles Experience with data analytics and BI tools, as well as knowledge of cloud data technologies like AWS and Snowflake
