Respiratory Department Manager

Oversees and coordinates the day-to-day operations of the Respiratory Department and collaborates with the Director to develop and implement education, facilitate clinical operations, and support daily operations. They are responsible for assisting with staff selection, orientation of staff, scheduling staff, ensuring policy and procedures reflect current practice standards as well as ensuring Respiratory Department is stocked with adequate and appropriate supplies.

Education/Training:

• Graduate of an AMA approved program for Respiratory Care.
• AS or BA/BS preferred.

Licenses/Certification:

• Current MA Respiratory license
• RRT Required
• NRP Required
• BLS Required

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Excellent organizational skills.
• Minimum of 5 years as a Respiratory Therapist
• Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to perform all the functions contained in the Respiratory Therapist's Job Descriptions.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to work within a budget.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:

• Able to communicate effectively with all age groups
• Command of verbal and written English, demonstration of clinical competence, ability to set up a variety of clinical equipment.

Salary Range: $25.16-$38.42

Salary Range Details

The pay range displayed on each job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education. This is not inclusive of the value Sturdy Health's benefits package (if applicable), which includes among other benefits, healthcare/dental/vision and retirement. For annual salaries this is based on full-time employment.
