Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional physical therapy services to patients in an outpatient brain injury rehab setting
• Implement treatment plans developed by the supervising Physical Therapist to improve mobility, strength, and function
• Assist patients with therapeutic exercises and activities, monitoring progress and adjusting as needed
• Document patient treatments and progress accurately and timely
• Educate patients and families on home exercise programs and safety
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated care

Qualifications

• Active Physical Therapist Assistant license in Maine (or compact license eligible)
• Graduate of an accredited PTA program
• CPR certification required (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
• Prior experience in outpatient or brain injury rehab preferred, but new grads welcome to apply!

Education

• Associate's degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program

Knowledge & Skills

• Knowledge of therapeutic exercises, modalities, and rehab techniques
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach
