Location: Morrisville, NC (NC147)
Pay Rate: Up to $24/hr
Duration: Long-term contract, 6+ months

Schedule

• Until October 5:
  • Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
  • Every 3rd weekend
• After October 5:
  • Monday-Friday, 1:00 PM-9:30 PM
  • Every 3rd weekend

Position Overview

The Pharmacy Technician will support prescription fulfillment operations for long-term care (LTC) facilities by preparing, packaging, and processing medication orders while maintaining compliance with all applicable regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare prescription orders by verifying information and selecting medications from inventory
• Label, scan, package, and sort medications accurately and efficiently
• Monitor and communicate inventory needs to ensure adequate medication supply
• Remove expired medications and maintain organized inventory levels
• Meet established productivity and accuracy standards
• Collaborate with pharmacy staff to ensure smooth workflow
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Comply with all local, state, and federal pharmacy regulations
• Perform other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted North Carolina Pharmacy Technician license
• Active PTCB or NHA certification
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask under deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior pharmacy experience, preferably in a long-term care setting
• National certification and strong medication fulfillment experience

Interview Process

• One round, in-person interview

Dress Code

• Professional casual attire (scrubs preferred)
