Strategic Buyer: Contracts, Procurement & Vendor Relations

Job Description Job Description Our client is looking to add a Buyer to our Supply Chain team. You will be working on contracts, negotiations, procurement, and vendor management. You will play a key role in supporting our efforts as we expand our Remote Sensing and Space Tourism initiative. $29-30. On-site position. Temporary position that could turn long term. Role Responsibilities Identify savings opportunities, assets, build action plans, form strategies and performance plans to improve KPI’s. Work with warehouse to identify key materials/parts adjust min-max and plan ahead to reduce TCO by negotiating with yearly consumption quantities. Structuring sound business arrangements, developing negotiation strategies, and lead contract negotiations. Vendor Master File: Creating and modifying current vendors, identify, inspect, and analyze current vendors and define correct vendor to use, eliminate duplicates and combine information if needed. Purchase orders: Determine which vendors can supply the services based on historical information and identify new opportunities to get new vendors and more competitive pricing. Contracts: Identify services and vendors that qualify for contracts, send agreement and work with redlines in conjunction with the legal department. Manage vendor MSA’s, work on new SOW’s or Change Order Request, and review. Handle Master Service AG, Construction AG, Leasing AG, Professional Service AG, Engineering AG, Service AG. ERP issues: work with ERP support on past and current issues with program, help identify the root cause of the problem and implement patches. Train End Users with the processing of requisitions, parts/service entry sheets for vendor payment.
