Wellness SpecialistA Wellness Specialist is a resourceful, motivated and empathetic individual. In this role, you will be adaptive to the changing needs of campus, support peers through daily tasks and team-building opportunities and grow the peer experience in community outreach and engagement. Join our pack! Contribute: Educate: Stay up-to-date on knowledge of the programs and services offered by ThriveWell and Wellness and Recreation. Develop: Create and deliver educational presentations related to health and wellness. Plan: Outline, implement and promote campus-wide events that foster mental and physical well-being on campus. Collaborate: Work alongside Wellness and Recreation student staff and campus partners to develop and market educational materials, programs and outreach special events on topics relevant to college students. Risk Management: Knowledge and implementation of emergency action plan. Training and Meetings: Attend required training and monthly staff meetings. Community: Develop professional relationships with co-workers, participants and guests. Sensory: Potentially loud and busy work environment that requires strong communication and observation skills.
