Senior .NET Developer

Job Summary:
The Programmer 5 role involves collaborating with supervisors, project managers, and development teams in an Agile environment to support the full software development lifecycle. The focus is on new development and modernization of legacy applications into .NET-based solutions using technologies such as C#, ASP.NET Core MVC, Web API, Windows Forms, and SQL Server. The position requires ensuring adherence to N-tier architecture and coding standards while providing technical guidance and fostering team collaboration. Responsibilities: Required Skills & Certifications:
- 10+ years of .NET web development experience, including ASP.NET Core MVC.
- 10+ years of experience with ASP.NET development using C#.
- 10+ years of experience in SQL Server database design and development, including query optimization, tables, views, stored procedures, and functions.
- 10+ years of experience with Entity Framework and .NET Framework 4.0 or higher.
- 10+ years of experience with TFS, code repository management, promotion, and recovery strategies.
- Strong experience with SOA / WCF and N-tier development and deployment environments.
- 5+ years of experience with Agile methodology, TFS / Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines, SSRS, SSIS, Visual Studio, and mobile-compliant application development.
- 2+ years of experience with REST API, .NET Core / .NET 5, and TDD or application testing strategies.
- Experience implementing AJAX-enabled controls within ASP.NET web applications.
- Strong communication, leadership, collaboration, and facilitation skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team while managing deadlines effectively.
- Work in an Agile development environment requiring collaboration and adherence to coding standards.
- Regular business hours shift in Columbus, OH.
- Job duration of 9+ months.
