Salary: $70-$90k+ BOE

Cost Estimator

Location: West Chester, OH

Pay: $70-$90k+ BOE

Responsibilities:

• Prepare accurate cost estimates and price quotations for new, redesigned, and modified products.
• Develop and compile cost data for complex composite products when standard costing information is unavailable.
• Review and revise cost estimates based on engineering changes, material pricing, and manufacturing updates.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and material specification sheets to support accurate costing.
• Prepare and submit all required estimate documentation for internal review and approval.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, and customers to ensure estimates align with manufacturing capabilities and project requirements.

Requirements:

• Associate degree required; Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred, or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Experience preparing cost estimates in a manufacturing environment, preferably with composite products.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and material specification sheets.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple departments.
• Professional interpersonal skills to interact with engineers, production personnel, and customers.
• Drafting experience with Unigraphics (NX) or CATIA is a plus.
• Ability to work effectively in both office and manufacturing environments.
