TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Labor/Delivery RN in Santa Monica, California, 90404!

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license required Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, FHM, NRP, NCC EFM acceptable in lieu of AWHONN Must-Have: - Experience with high-risk pregnancies. - Ability to assist with vaginal deliveries and circulate for C-sections. - Familiarity with fetal heart monitoring and antepartum care. - Capability to float to postpartum if needed. Description: The labor and delivery unit consists of 4 antepartum rooms, 9 labor/high-risk rooms, and 3 triage areas. No on-call duty is required. Floating to postpartum will occur only if necessary. High-risk pregnancy monitoring is a key responsibility. Perform fetal heart monitoring and assist in C-sections and vaginal deliveries. Cohesive teamwork will be essential in emergency situations. Experience with couplet care during the postpartum period is a bonus. Daily interactions involve interdisciplinary support from various services. This position may involve working with high-profile patients, where privacy is paramount. A positive attitude and commitment to patient care are essential for this role. Flexibility is required to meet the demands of the unit and patient needs. All staff members are expected to float between units as needed.
