Clinical Lead

OhioHealth is seeking a Clinical Lead for our Cardiovascular Intermediate unit. In this role, you'll provide direct patient care while serving as a clinical resource and leader for the bedside team. Responsibilities include coordinating daily workflows, overseeing patient assignments, supporting evidence-based practice, mentoring staff, and collaborating with physicians and allied health professionals to ensure safe, high-quality cardiovascular care. You will champion quality, safety, and patient experience while modeling OhioHealth's values of compassion, inclusion, and excellence. Responsibilities Provide direct cardiovascular intermediate-level patient care using evidence-based practices Coordinate daily unit workflow and patient assignments to ensure safe staffing and throughput Serve as a clinical resource and role model for nurses and support staff Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams on care plans and transitions of care Monitor quality, patient safety, and patient experience metrics and support improvement efforts Mentor, coach, and support onboarding of new nurses and staff Ensure accurate, timely EHR documentation and adherence to regulatory standards Support implementation of new protocols, technologies, and best practices Participate in unit-based councils, education, and performance improvement initiatives Promote an inclusive, compassionate environment aligned with Ohio Health's mission and values Required Skills Cardiovascular patient assessment Telemetry monitoring Care coordination Clinical leadership Staff supervision and mentoring Electronic Health Records (EHR) documentation Care planning and discharge planning Quality and safety protocols ACLS and BLSInterdisciplinary team collaboration #J-18808-Ljbffr OhioHealth
