Registered Nurse - Endoscopy

Location: Corpus Christi, TX

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 06:30 - 15:00

Job Description: The Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy unit will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care during endoscopic procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort through moderate sedation and assisting with the overall procedural process.

Responsibilities:

• Perform assessments and monitor patients undergoing endoscopy procedures.
• Administer moderate sedation safely and effectively.
• Assist physicians during endoscopic procedures including EGD, Colonoscopy, ERCP, and Bronchoscopy.
• Maintain accurate patient records using Meditech EMR.
• Ensure proper handling and reprocessing of scopes and other equipment.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Valid RN License
• BLS/BCLS Certification
• ACLS Certification
• Endoscopy experience is a must
• Moderate sedation experience is required
