Job Description

Join our expanding production team as a Production Inspector to support ongoing and future projects. This role involves assembling and inspecting plastic fuel tanks using various tools and processes.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and inspect plastic fuel tanks off rotational mold.
• Use hand and power tools such as knives, hammers, portable drills, and handheld routers.
• Operate pneumatic tools for various tasks.
• Follow daily written work orders and repeatable processes.
• Clean and strip defects from parts out of the mold.
• Perform a dunk test to inspect for leaks and ensure quality.

Essential Skills

• Experience in assembly and inspection.
• Proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Familiarity with pneumatic tools and machine operation.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months experience in a manufacturing facility.
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Candidates without prior manufacturing experience can also succeed in this role.

Work Environment

Work in a non-climate controlled production facility with a 2nd or 3rd ahift schedule, with weekends as needed based on customer demand. Dress code allows for shorts and short sleeve shirts, but steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, vests, and hearing protection are required and will be provided.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Liberty, IA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $23.00/hr.
