Job Description\n Malone Healthcare - Nursing is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg / Telemetry for a travel nursing job in Wausau, Wisconsin.Job Description & Requirements\n \n Specialty: Med Surg / Telemetry\n Discipline: RN\n Start Date: 10/19/2026\n Duration: 13 weeks\n 36 hours per week\n Shift: 12 hours, days\n Employment Type: Travel\n \n \n Job Title: Registered Nurse - Medical / Pediatrics (MAP Unit - Med Surg)\n VMS Req ID / Source: ASWAHW-31375 / Staffency-StaffBot (Simplifi)\n Location: Aspirus Wausau Hospital, Wausau, Wisconsin (333 Pine Ridge Blvd)\n Specialty: Med Surg / Healthcare - RN\n Compensation & Schedule Details\n \n Hours & Shift: 36 guaranteed hours per week (12-hour Days, 0700–1930).\n Contract Length: 13 weeks\n Target Start Date: October 26, 2026 (Clinical interview required; GSA hours not guaranteed during orientation week).\n Scheduling: Every other weekend and every other holiday required.\n Low Census Policy: Eligible for up to 36 hours of unbillable low census hours total per contract (can be low censused in hour increments, such as 4-hour blocks).\n \n Key Facility Policies & Floating Rules\n \n Floating: Required to float to all inpatient units as needed.\n Mandatory Health Policy: During flu season, any traveler who declines the flu and COVID-19 vaccination is strictly required to wear a mask at all times (no exceptions).\n Dress Code: Any color scrubs allowed.\n \n Requirements & Qualifications\n \n Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required (Level II trauma experience highly preferred).
