Job Title: Infrastructure Engineer (deskside IT support )
Location: Olathe, KS 66061 (Onsite)
Duration: 03 Months on a W2 contract with High possible extensions
Shift: 1st Shift – 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM (Onsite Only)
The Infrastructure Engineer will provide onsite, deskside IT support at the Olathe, KS facility. This includes maintenance of hardware, process documentation, and troubleshooting standard
operations or equipment issues. The ideal candidate will have technical experience, a customer service mindset, and the adaptability to work in a dynamic, onsite support environment.
Key Responsibilities:
· Provide deskside Tier 2 IT support for daily operations
· Perform standard processes such as imaging computers, replacing printer toner, disposing of outdated assets, and resolving ServiceNow trouble tickets
· Maintain and document asset information in Asset Center
· Follow knowledge base (KB) articles and unit-specific procedures for troubleshooting
· Communicate effectively via email and create/maintain records, contact lists, process logs, reports, and inventory/service records
· Recognize and resolve process or operational issues using pre-documented solutions, escalating when necessary
· Monitor equipment status, schedule maintenance, order supplies, update data records, and interact with suppliers
· Apply basic technical knowledge to printer operations (e.g., toner/roller replacement, basic troubleshooting)
· Assist with implementing new AV devices (e.g., Neat)
Qualifications:
· knowledge of computing and networking fundamentals
· Skilled in Microsoft Office applications, as well as intranet and internet functions
· Understanding of computer security policies and concepts
· 1+ years of IT experience preferred (recent college graduates will be considered)
· AV equipment experience preferred
Education: Degree in Information Technology or equivalent experience
High School diploma or equivalent required
