Responsibilities

• Perform radiographic imaging procedures as ordered, including DR fixed, DR portable, and fluoroscopy studies
• Properly position patients, select exposure factors, and operate imaging equipment to produce diagnostic-quality images; maintain patient and staff safety
• Adhere to radiation safety protocols; monitor dosimetry badge use and follow ALARA principles
• Document procedures and results in the Epic EMR; communicate findings with radiologists and referring physicians
• Maintain imaging equipment, perform routine quality checks, and report any malfunctions or needed service
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to adapt to rotating shifts and on-call requirements

Requirements

• Current Hawaii Radiologic Technologist license (Radiographer) required, active by start
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of independent radiologic technologist experience
• Proficiency with radiographic equipment including DR fixed, DR fluoroscopy, C-arms, portable DR equipment; experience with Philips DR, Philips C-arms, OEC C-arms, Philips Fluoro, EPIC EMR; dosimetry badge required
• Travel readiness: must arrive on the island prior to the start date for HR/EH clearance and must be available for the scheduled start
