Painter / Blaster Join a small, hands-on Paint/Blast team responsible for preparing, blasting, painting, and powder coating metal components used in automated warehousing equipment. Training is provided, making this a great opportunity for mechanically inclined individuals looking to grow their skills. Pay: $30/hr Schedule 2nd Shift Monday-Thursday 4:00 PM - 2:30 AM Two paid 15-minute breaks One unpaid 30-minute meal break Training Schedule (1-2 Weeks) Monday-Thursday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM What You'll Do Load and unload metal parts using manual methods and a sit-down forklift Operate blasting equipment using 50-grit blast media Prepare, hang, and rack parts for paint and powder coat processes Paint and powder coat products to quality standards Move materials throughout the shop using a forklift Inspect finished parts for quality and accuracy Support multiple phases of the paint and blast process as needed Requirements Experience operating a sit-down forklift Strong mechanical aptitude Ability to lift and move materials of varying sizes and weights Willingness to learn and cross-train in multiple areas Ability to work safely while wearing protective equipment Preferred Experience Sandblasting Industrial painting Powder coating Manufacturing or production environments No direct paint or blast experience? Training is available for motivated candidates. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $30.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
