RN/LPN Extended Hours

The RN/LPN extended hours essential duties are: plans and delivers care to patients utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, interventions, implementation, and evaluation; and effectively interacts with patients, families, and other interdisciplinary team members while maintaining standards of professional nursing.

What you should know about the RN/LPN extended hours role:

• This is a driving position throughout Columbus.
• This is a full-time position: 6p-6a, three 12-hour shifts a week, and every other weekend. Two holidays per year required.
• We provide superior care and superior services to patients at their end of life journey. Only those who have a heart for hospice will succeed.

RN/LPN extended hours qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited nursing school; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Active registered nurse license in the state of Ohio without any board actions. Two years acute care nursing experience preferred.
• CPR certified.
• Certification in Hospice & Palliative Medicine (CHPN) preferred and will be made available to Ohio's Hospice employees who wish to obtain certification.
• Computer skills sufficient to properly document services and care.
• Ability to drive during daytime, nighttime, or inclement weather.
• Valid driver's license with safe driving record.
• State minimum automobile insurance coverage.
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check.
• Must be able to pass a 10 panel drug screen.
