JOB SUMMARY

The Ag Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of warehousing, delivery, and installation, including receiving and storing materials and equipment, maintaining inventories, following applicable maintenance and safety programs and maintaining applicable records. The individual in this position will oversee the warehouse, delivery, and installation teams, providing coaching and mentoring to direct reports to aid in and encourage career development.

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Foster a positive work environment, ensuring high levels of teamwork, effectiveness, communication, and safety.
• Manage, coach, and develop the team; make necessary changes in staff responsibilities to ensure productivity and performance goals are met.
• Manage warehouse operations, including employee and asset safety, quality, customer experience, cost savings, continuous improvement, and adoption of initiatives and innovation that generate world-class efficiencies.
• Lead a zero-loss culture, assuring a safe and responsible working environment and compliance with all EHS, OSHA, and DOT standards and regulations.
• Oversee coordination of projects with outside contractors for maintenance.
• Maintain applicable written program documentation for quality, maintenance, and safety.
• Oversee the delivery and inventory management of chemical products.
• Work with the customer service team to coordinate the sourcing and ordering of materials needed within the department.
• Identify operational discrepancies and provide focused solutions with a timeline for corrective action.
• Evaluate and report the condition and value of items/materials and recommend same for storage.
• Work with the technical team to minimize production costs, enhance product quality, improve safety, and ensure reliability of service to the customer.
• Communicate business results and identify gaps for improvement of key metrics.
• Compile data and prepare regularly scheduled or ad hoc reports, analyses, and statements.
• Oversee and evaluate preventive maintenance programs of warehouse equipment and PPE and report necessary findings to management; order repairs and replacements when required.
• Make deliveries and fill in for other positions as necessary when short staffed or additional help is needed.
• Hold and attend meetings as required and participate on committees when requested.
• Adhere to and support all safety policies and guidelines.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Strong supervisory and leadership skills
• Ability to anticipate and solve problems
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Proficiency with data entry and inventory software and systems
• Ability to maintain established policies and procedures, objectives, quality assessment, and safety standards
• Ability to pass a respirator fit test and wear a half-or full-face respirator
• Current and valid CA driver's license and a good driving record
• Current and valid CDL B with Hazmat endorsement or willingness to obtain CDL B with Hazmat endorsement within 90 days of hire

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous experience in warehouse management
• Previous experience in production environments
• Possession of a current and valid CDL A w/Hazmat and tanker endorsements

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

The anticipated salary range for this position is $70,000 to $85,000 annually , depending on qualifications and experience. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off.
