Echocardiographer Pediatrics

We are seeking a skilled Pediatric Cardiac Sonographer to perform echocardiograms, fetal echocardiograms, and other diagnostic cardiac imaging studies. The ideal candidate will have experience working with neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations and possess strong technical and patient care skills. This role offers the opportunity to work in a specialized cardiac imaging environment focused on delivering high-quality diagnostic services. Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive echocardiograms and fetal echocardiography examinations. Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and measurements for physician interpretation. Evaluate and document cardiac anatomy, function, and hemodynamics. Prepare patients and families for procedures while providing compassionate care and education. Operate and maintain echocardiography equipment in accordance with departmental standards. Ensure accurate documentation and image management within the electronic medical record and imaging systems. Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to support patient care. Adhere to quality assurance, infection control, and patient safety protocols. Float within the scope of practice as needed to support departmental operations. Qualifications Minimum 1 year of echocardiography experience. Current BLS certification. Experience working with neonatal, infant, pediatric, and adolescent patient populations. Strong communication, organizational, and patient care skills. Preferred certifications include ARDMS RDCS (FE), ARDMS RDCS (PE), or CCI RCCS. Experience performing fetal and pediatric echocardiography studies preferred. Familiarity with EPIC electronic medical records and Philips ultrasound equipment preferred.
