- Salary Range: $65,000.00 - $75,000.00
- Direct Hire / Full-Time
- Onsite (Office & Field)
- Frequent travel to field operations (approximately 80% field work)
- Support environmental compliance programs and ensure adherence to applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- Assist with environmental site monitoring, assessments, and remediation activities.
- Support permit applications, compliance reporting, and environmental data review and analysis.
- Maintain environmental records and documentation within the HSSE recordkeeping system.
- Provide technical and administrative support for environmental investigations, incident response, and complaint resolution efforts.
- Assist with developing documentation and technical work plans that support environmental programs and initiatives.
- Conduct routine environmental inspections to maintain compliance with permits and regulatory requirements.
- Report non-compliant conditions and assist in implementing corrective actions.
- Stay informed on evolving environmental regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with internal teams, contractors, and operational personnel to support environmental objectives.
- Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of environmental regulations, compliance programs, and environmental management practices.
- Familiarity with regulations including:
- Clean Water Act (Sections 401 and 404)
- NPDES
- SPCC
- Clean Air Act
- RCRA Hazardous and Solid Waste regulations
- USACE, USFWS, and SHPO requirements
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-starter with strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with multiple teams.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to safely operate vehicles, equipment, and tools.
- Ability to work in both office and field environments.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and navigate challenging terrain when conducting site inspections and evaluations.
- Availability for occasional after-hours support during urgent situations or emergencies.
- Competitive salary range of $65,000 - $75,000.
