Our client, the United States' largest commercial real estate services and investment firm, has an exciting opportunity for an experienced HVAC Engineer to join their Engineering & Technical Services team in Windsor, CO. This 5-month contract opportunity offers competitive pay, health benefits, and the potential for extension and future full-time employment.

Pay Rate: $31.00 - $34.00/hour (based on experience)

Location: Windsor, CO


Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, with a rotating on-call schedule.

This is an onsite role supporting a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility that produces turbine blades. What You'll Do

• Perform preventative maintenance on commercial and industrial HVAC equipment, including air handling units, boilers, and humidification systems.
• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC and refrigeration systems.
• Install, repair, adjust, service, and maintain electric and pneumatic HVAC control systems.
• Perform daily equipment inspections, facility rounds, and manage assigned work orders.
• Respond to reactive maintenance requests and complete repairs in a timely manner.
• Complete light plumbing, electrical, and general building maintenance tasks as needed.
• Ensure all HVAC equipment operates safely and complies with applicable codes, regulations, and company safety standards.
• Utilize mobile applications and basic computer systems to document work and manage maintenance requests.
• Collaborate with fellow maintenance technicians to support facility operations and assist with general maintenance projects as needed.
• Promote a safe work environment while following all CBRE safety policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma required. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 5-7 years of job-related HVAC, facilities maintenance, or mechanical experience required.
• EPA Universal Certification required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Strong knowledge of commercial and industrial HVAC systems.
• Experience with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC equipment.
• General maintenance experience, including light plumbing and light electrical work.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience using mobile applications for work order management.
• Excellent customer service skills with a professional attitude.
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs. and perform physical work, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, and stooping throughout the workday.
• Prior supervisory or shift lead experience is a plus.

Preferred Qualifications

• Commercial HVAC experience.
• Experience using Maximo CMMS.
• Aerial lift certification.
• Fall protection training.
• Forklift certification.
• Trade school or technical HVAC education.
