Role Overview

As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll work under the supervision of a pharmacist to ensure the accurate and timely preparation of medications for our patients. Your role is critical in supporting patient care by managing medication orders, maintaining inventory, and delivering medications to patient care areas. Your work directly contributes to the safety and well-being of our patients.

What You Will Do

• Receive and enter medication orders into the pharmacy computer system.
• Prepare medications and labels for dispensing.
• Deliver medications to patient care areas.
• Maintain drug inventory in dispensing areas.
• Maintain appropriate records and process medication charges for services rendered.

Qualifications

Required

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Pharmacy Technician License from the State of Michigan.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and type approximately 25 words per minute.

Preferred

Qualifications

• 6 months of pharmacy experience.
